Subject: [Mac-access]: Wierd sound problems on video playback

Dear listers.
My wife's iphone 4 s is defeating me.It will not play sound on videos. All other audio functions work perfectly. Occasionally, she can get the first two seconds of sound then it cuts out, which is very odd. She also tells me that the bar that shows the volume going up or down does not appear when she tries to use the volume buttons.

I am turning to you guys as I have searched the internet in vain for a solution.

Thanks in advance
Ian
