OK, but I'm wanting to literally burn a duplicate copy. I don't want jsut
the audio as an mp3. I'm needing an exact DVD copy on another DVD media
disc.

hand brake will rip any dvd even those with drm protection, at least that
has been my experience. if not thr's software to prpbably crack it, but
since I have not used dvds in about 3 years I can't tell you much. I'd
consult google on how to do this or mac update or iMore.

Hand brake then use easy music converter or cloud convert to convert
the files to mp3. this has worked for me, until of corse I got my mac
book air as it has no cd drive. Lol! but it works quite well.
