A simple Google search verifies the statement regarding Netflix though it would appear that Audio Description is restricted to the U.S. and Canada at this point.

Apple TV has been accessible for ages.

How do you verify if Netflix has audio describe on it?

Hi,

As a follow up on the Apple TV and NetFlicks, can anyone confirm its
availability in Canada….

David Woodbridge did a great tutorial on AppleVis today and I followed it
through. Sadly—unless I missed a step in his instructions, I have the feeling
that Canada is not making audio descriptions available…. Would, as I say,
really want to confirm this.

Hi all,
some Apple news. Some products will be purchased in the future which dad has
allowed me to consider. The first is an Apple TV which is a small media
streaming box that is connected to your TV and allows you to stream anything
from media stored in iTunes either for PC or Mac to TV shows and movies either
purchased from the iTunes Store or streamed from a service like Netflix which
as of yesterday is now providing audio description. The device costs £99.00 UK
but extra charges may apply especially if you subscribe to services like
Netflix which is £6.00/month UK. The second product to be considered is the
Apple Watch. Dad is hinting I can do allsorts from my writs without getting my
phone out of my pocket. But like I told him it is only compatible with the
iPhone 5 and later so this will definitely be a future purchase whereas the
Apple TV is a near future purchase. He sounds really excited that they both
talk. If anyone has an Apple TV please tell me what you think of it. Thank you
in advance! Both products were discussed during our pints this afternoon.
