An area that is very important on iOS, but has been lacking in Voiceover accessibility greatly is productivity.
Apple's iOS iWork is the only suite that is somewhat "useable", but is far from "accessible". It would be great to have a master list/document, which details all of the various VoiceOver accessibility issues with Apple's iOS iWork. This master list can be then sent to [email protected] and filed as bugs in BugReport.Apple.com I would like to reach out to the iOS VoiceOver community to gather all the iOS iWork VoiceOver accessibility pitfalls, short comings, bugs, areas that need to be improved, and other suggestions. The importance of this is only getting larger and larger, especially as we move from the traditional desktop/laptop productivity environment to the mobile world. When providing thoughts, bugs, and/or suggestions on iOS iWork VoiceOver accessibility, please be sure to include the following details: * iWork app in question: Pages, Numbers, or KeyNote; * summary of bug; * steps to reproduce bug; * expected result (given the bug were not present); * Actual result (how does it currently behave with the bug). Hoping, we can encourage and push for real iOS iWork VoiceOver accessibility.
