Hello Dane

Let me put this another way then, since it seems to be necessary.

If you're intending to do development away from base, then yes; an HTML editor
would be useful for the iPad. But the problem might be testing your code. It
may not always be practicable to do that while portable and you'd need to be
able to publish or upload your code somewhere otherwise what's the point? If
you don't have the 3G version of the iPad then you'll have to wait until you're
back within range of your network in order to upload your work to a web
directory. Certainly nothing wrong with that; and I'm quite glad we have our
iPad. I won't deny that it has proven useful on multiple occasions for working
on projects and documents without being confined to using a laptop in the
conventional sense. The problem seems to be that on Apple's platforms, there
are a few products which don't let you have full accessibility. Sandvox is one
of them and Rapid Weaver is another. But I won't go into all that now; as we're
trying to sort out something with Sandvox and then we plan to
do a demo/review for our website. But yes, I can see the logic if you have
some means of testing and/or uploading your code. I'm personally quite glad our
iPad has 3G.

Using the Ipad away from a main machine is in the front of my consideration
when talking about how good an app would be for an Ipad, after all! isn't that
the whole idea of an Ipad? You use it away from your main computer even though
an Ipad is not defined as a computer by Apple at least <smile>.
