Okay, tried to help a friend to a clean install of lion. Burned the DVD, and restarted the computer, launched disc utility from the DVD, and attempted to erase the hard drive, but it kept saying error. Am I doing something wrong, did I miss a step, or am I suppose to ear ace with disc utility before I try to use the dvd? Thanks in advance!
