what you do is go to the purchased page after you have downloaded
lion and it should give you the opportunity to download it again.
i had this same problem because i downloaded lion and ran the
installer instead of exiting the installation so i lost my copy.
i went to the purchase page which showed my list of purchased
apps from the app store, found mac osx lion, downloaded it again
which i know was a bit of a pain because it is a large file,
something over 3 gig even on my broadband connection it took time
and i canceled the installer when it started it after the
download which it tries to do for some reason.
the running of the installer caused it to disappear from my
applications folder.
applications is where you should find it when you exit the
installer.
you then have to go to utilities, disk utility and choose burn
and select that file.
i forgot before you go to the disk utility in utilities you have
to open the package, i think the option is open package content
if i remember correctly.
i think you have to look for something like shared folder within
the compressed file and the installer file is in there but i
cannot remember the exact name.
someone might be able to fill in the information i can't remember
as i am still fairly new to the mac as i have only had mine since
december last year or january this year.

Subject: question about lion.
Hi guys I installed os lion okay but it came up with a install
box first so i did not get to make a dvd copy first.
So can i down load lion again then shut the install window wen it
has down loaded then make a dvd copy.
I just looked on app store but could not see a way to down load
lion again.
Regards Michael.
