Hello Mike

I think this is a very good point. But it is different in some areas. For instance selecting files is different. Safari only changed in the very last days of 10.6.8. so that might mean more of an upgrade.

Thanks so much Lynne! Lately I have been feeling very overwhelmed with trying to understand VoiceOver! I just barely start to feel like I'm getting the hang of it, and then something happens, and I realize how incredibly much I still have to learn! Does it ever get second nature? And now there's Lion which I will some day have to contend with! Yikes! It makes me want to bury my head in the sand!

Hi Everyone,

My subject partially explains my question. When I press Command-Shift-A to bring up my applications folder, VoiceOver isn't speaking to me. My sighted husband tells me that the applications folder appears on my screen, but I'm not getting any verbal indication of it. I have hello Desi

Be mindful of the fact that this only works from Finder windows, not generally from other external windows.

used command-shift-a in the past just fine. Does anyone have any ideas about why this isn't working now? Thanks in advance!
