Courtney: If you want to edit a specific selection which may be in the middle of the file, you can creat markers.
Let's say you have a marker set at 2 minutes and another marker set at 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Can't remember the keyboard command however you can extend to beginning of marker. Let's say you are at marker 2 minutes and 30 seconds, you can extend to previous marker which in this case you have a marker set at 2 minutes and you then del ETC.
