Hi Everyone, I got my iPod Touch almost a week ago. Since then, I've been able to accomplish quite a few good things with it, some on my own, and some with the help of a good friend. I need to go into VoiceOver to the practice area and really practice my gestures, because I have done a couple of things completely by accident that I didn't mean to do. I used to have both YouTube and Facetime on my main screen, but somehow, inadvertently, I seemed to have moved them into a "social" folder that I didn't even know I had! For the time being, I'd like to get them back to their original position, but since I am not sure how I got them there in the first place, I'm not sure what to do next.
Also, I got my email account from my iMac all nicely synced up with my iPod, but when email is downloaded to my iPod, it is remaining on the server, so when I go back to my iMac, I'm seeing all of my messages over again. I definitely want to change this, because when I check my mail remotely, I don't want to come back home and find all the messages on my iMac still to have to be dealt with. I went into accounts on my iMac, but didn't seem to find any settings relevant to my iPod there. Then, I went into settings on my iPod, found the email settings, but didn't find anything dealing with how to make sure that messages are deleted from the server once they're downloaded to my iPod. My last question for now, deals with how one deletes email messages from the iPod permanently. I have been able to delete them, but they seem to be going to a "trash folder" so I guess what I'm asking, is how do I empty the trash? Any help with all of this would be most appreciated! One thing I'll say for sure is that this device, my iPod, is sure chipping away at my confidence in my ability to learn new things! Thanks in advance!
