Greetings all, Some time back I believe it was Ann R who described a workable procedure to copy a portion of a web page. Either the technique does not work in Lion or I'm missing a step or two.
Running Lion 10.7.1 and the Aug 17 nightly webkit build I took the following steps: 1. Define hotspots for the beginning and end of the text I wanted to copy. 2. Turned trackpad commander off. 3. Moved to hotspot1. 4. Rout the mouse via vo-shift-f5 and verified with vo-f5. 5. Click the trackpad (to clarify, I did not use the VO mouse click command). 6. Rout to the hotspot which was set at the end of my desired selection. 7. repeat steps 4 and 5 above. 8. Press command-c. If I'm not overlooking a step, this use to result in the desired text being copied to the clipboard. Instead a beep is emitted and nothing is copied. So I am wondering how to accomplish this task? Dear I hope that there is a less cumbersome way to do this in Lion? TIA for any ideas and best regards.
