Hello Paul No! Just changing the extension won't work as the format is very different. I know that because I tried it with very disastrous results.

It requires pictures of file type jpg or png. First are jpeg and jpg the same? In other words can I just change the file type to jpg and upload the pictures? Assuming that is not possible I have been trying to use Preview on Lion to convert the jpeg files to png files. This has sometimes worked and sometimes not worked and I am rather confused as to what I did which worked. Basically I opened the jpeg file with Preview and then created a duplicate within Preview and then saved that duplicate. that opened the save as menu and allowed me to select png as the file format. However when I press the save button usually nothing happens but sometimes the png file gets saved. What is the correct and reliable way to convert the jpeg file to a png file? Many thanks.
