Hi Michael, The answer will depend on your location and needs. If I read mail headers correctly, you posted from London. It does not appear that the nextbus site works outside North America, but perhaps you can find an equivalent. In areas served by NextBus, you can open a site in Safari and optionally place it on your home screen. When launched, it will list all stop names and predicted arrival times sorted by proximity from your present location. It won't tell you which corner the stop is on or its offset from the intersection, but I don't know of any apps that will. If you're looking for that level of detail you'd need to mark locations using an app such as Ariadne GPS.
Since NextBus is likely not an option for you, I would suggest doing an app store search using your city combined with other search terms such as "public transit" or "bus". Best regards.
