And thanks for bringing this update to our attention.

I've been a user of Audio Hijack Pro for the last 5 years and think this product actually underlines the strength of a Mac computer in many ways, without getting into the old "Windows Mac" argument, just how many products are there which run under Windows which successfully and - in most cases without any configuration necessary whatever - are able to hijack and record a source whether that source be a sound card or a running application? Well in my experience the anser to that question is next to 0 which is unfortunate so there we are.

Yep, Audio Hijack Pro does have a few parts which are not accessible including the "Effects" panel and I've long since given up on any hope that anything will change here but there are "workarounds" for this in the form of a guood audio editor such as Amadeus Pro etc.

Hello Courtney:

Thanks, it does help especially when you want to schedule a jacking such as
Safari and the web page isn't your home page. smile

Take care,

John

Hi,
I just wanted to let everyone know that's there's a major update to audiohijack
pro. What's so major about it is now the instant on feature now works with
lion, so the app you want to hijack doesn't have to relaunch before hijacking.
Hope this helps someone,
Courtney
