Hi Lewis.
If I were you I would give the benefit of the doubt and this time pay the £50 or so for the same keyboard.
Just a thought.

Hi Tracy.

I am Lewis Crack, 21 years old, and am totally blind and hard of hearing.

I have an iPod Touch, iPhone and Macbook and I love the lot.
I also find it easier to navigate by tactile buttons, but I am extremely good
at navigating a touchscreen.

I bought a Freedom Iconnex Keyboard for £22, but it was the cheap model and I
couldn't get it to work. I would avoid it if you can. Get the one that costs
around £47.99.
I am hoping to get one in the future.
Hope to chat soon and it is good to know you.
Lewis. :)

Sure does! I'm already looking in to the keyboards, are there ones that I
should avoid? I've actually found that I can find the buttons on most
screens, but have trouble when there are many small ones on a particular
screen. Thanks
Tracy

Hi Tracey, and welcome to the list!
I have an iPod Touch 4G. I suggest you learning to swipe and double tap for
the time being rather than locating what you want on the screen and doing a
single tap. I also suggest looking into a bluetooth keyboard, as writing on
a touch screen can be laborious at times. If you don't have the money, there
is one app based on Dragon Naturally Speaking called Dragon Dictation. This
is a free app hence me mentioning this. I love my iPod Touch 4G and what it
can do. I also have a Freedom Iconnex Bluetooth keyboard as I prefer to
write using a traditional qwerty keyboard rather than swiping to a character
and double tapping to insert.
Hope this all helps.

Good morning! Thanks for the list welcome! I'm glad to be a part of
this helpful list! I just, a couple of weeks ago, got the Iphone 4.
I'm slowly learning to use it, haven't gotten the gestures mastered
yet, but working on it.
If any of you have helpful suggestions, don't hesitate to send them my
way!
I'm also looking for any cool and fun apps that I should download that
work with voice over. Using the apps has helped me learn many of the
things I've figured out already.
Are there game apps that you recommend?
Also sources for free books for Ibooks?
Thanks so much.
