On my I Mac I have a 256 gb solid drive and a 2TB second dive.
I want to leave the solid state drive as far as possible to be a drive for
operating systems and
installed programs .
I have a problem with I Tunes relentlessly trying to fill up my solid state
drive with copies of files that I have placed on my secondary drive. Does
anybody know how I can stop I tunes doing this.
I think I will be using VLC which seems far easier to use than I Tunes but I
lowed I Tunes to import a CD tonight whereupon it started to fill up my
primary drive even though I did not ask it to do this. I eventually had to do
a force quit on I Tunes to stop it doing this as the only response I could get
from I Tunes was busy whilst Finder reported the I Tunes media folder growing
relentlessly.
