Hello everyone, I took the plunge and recently purchased Dragon Dictate version 2.5 for the Mac, German and English. Although the German customer service person was quite knowledgeable and eager to help, she did not know whether or not it would be possible to "train" Dragon Dictate (I think that's what the software package is called) without sighted assistance.
The agent said that the text the trainer was supposed to read would appear on the screen. Thus, I am wondering if I could use my BrailleNote Apex to read the text as it appeared on the screen or if I could somehow transfer each screen of text to the Apex in advance so that reading would be seamless. The sales agent assured me that the version I ordered worked with Lion. Since I don't yet have the software, I can't be more specific with my questions. However, any clues in advance might significantly cut down on the time I might need to be up and running with the product. Kindest regards and thanks in advance, Mike <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
