Hello everybody Has anybody yet tried the Recovery USB thumb drive tool that Apple reputedly made available on its support site last month? I took advantage of Crucial's offer when I bought us our last RAM modules and I bought 4 of their 16GB USB thumb drives. My aim was to use them for this purpose; one for each of our important Macs which don't currently have a backup solution.
Each of our now 8 server machines does, of course, have backup hardware already in place. But our MBP and MB machines don't yet, apart from the unreliable Time Machine backups on a networked volume. I need to go searching for the tool again and I welcome comment.
