Hi Jane,

You can reorder Automator actions in the workflow area by using Command+Up arrow to move up and
Command+Down arrow to move down.  So for instance, if you add an action to the end of your work
flow that you want to move up to be the second action in the workflow. Move your VoiceOver cursor
to the last action and route your Mouse cursor to your VoiceOver cursor (VO-Command-F5) if you
don't have your cursors tracking. Select the action by clicking (VO-Shift-Space). (VoiceOver will
announce the name of the action you've selectec.) Then press Command+Up arrow. VoiceOver will say
"Move Up" and shift the action to the next to the last place in the current workflow list
of actions.  If you want to continue to move the action up, press Command+Up arrow again.
Similarly, you can select an action with this method and move it down with Command+Down arrow.
These options and their shortcut key sequence are listed under the "Action" menu of the
Automator menu bar.

HTH.  Cheers,

Esther

I am putting together an Automator action to turn text into audio files, encode
them as different file types, and then import them into iTunes and set song
info. I forgot to add an extra encode type. Is ther a way to add an action
within the workflow, or do I have to undo all the actions past where I want to
add one, then re-add?
