Hello everybody

I'm looking for a little advice if I may. I have a lot of folders on one of our
volumes whose contents I want to create an archive of. In other words, I want a
separate archive using the same archive parameters for each folder. This is
obviously the disadvantage of the GUI-based system such as sArchiver because
each one has to be done individually.

So, what I'm asking is how difficult would it be, and where would i start,
using which tool, to create something like an AppleScript to sequentially
create each archive in a single automated operation?

I don't particularly want to have to sit here and programme each archive
manually in an environment such as sArchiver which, whilst great for individual
archives, would be tedious in circumstances such as these.

Lynne
