Hi all, I know Esther and others on list use Skim. I'm noticing something under Lion and wouldn't mind if others can confirm.
If one reads a long passage of a PDF document the reading sounds odd. Remember in Mail when words were broken up? I'll try to Simulate: "T he little B rown dog J umped quickly over the L azy" (etc) In essence, words are being broken up and read incorrectly. The reason I'm trying to get this sorted is that my Preview issue doesn't seem to be resolvable. My wife assures me that the entire text of the page is visible on-screen, yet VO isn't reading the entire thing. I'm starting to pul my hair out on this one, as (given the job I do) I have to read a lot of PDF documents. Some of these are important theses etc so missing chunks are a problem.
