Actually this is on behalf of a friend. I was helping him update and it said it
would restart the phone and the message would be dismissed in 10 seconds. It's
been 10 minutes now and the phone has not restarted. Should I have this person
power on the phone as normal and hope it does and the restore process begins?

He did not see the phone in his devices list and I did not hear the chirp
sound when the usb thing is hooked up and the phone is charging. and his mac
has been awake the whold time.

Thanks.
