Afternoon folks, It seems that Apple has seen fit to update iWork for IOS, adding improved functionality to the suite, as well as the ability to use iCloud. But, where are the OS X updates? iWork on OS X has not seen a major revision in two years. While Pages is very good, there are nevertheless features and aspects which need improvement. Whether this is Pages or VO related, I'm not qualified to say. Numbers too, is a mess with VO. Keynote seems to work quite well, although I've not had the time yet or the need to put this app through its paces.
I hope Apple will soon update iWork, not just with a minor update that will provide iCloud support, but with a major revision. Be aware though, that when I've applied for jobs with Apple, the ability to use MS Office has been a requirement. It sounds as if Apple themselves are not making any positive movements in the direction of iWork. I would hate to see OS X left behind in favour of IOS. Hopefully, Apple will not forget where they came from and continue to support OS X with the same fervour that they do IOS.
