thanks for all your comments.. Just got back from Manchester. At the Mac Store I was told Siri works fine in the UK but nothing about the limitations, but it was too noisy to try properly. In the O2 shop I was told not to bother upgrading from my IPhone 4 if Siri was my main reason and that it didn't work and couldn't understand a Manchester accent. A really good sales pitch. :)
