Hello everybody

Earlier on this evening our time, a misunderstanding arose regarding the
discussion of the Windows version of iTunes and associated applications. This
misunderstanding highlighted a loophole in our policy which, until now, has
been overlooked.

This loophole has been fixed, and the updated document may be found at
<http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/Mac-Access-Welcome.html>
Please note that the filename is case-sensitive. Just to clarify though;
Although Apple does produce software for Windows, that does not mean that the
Windows version of iTunes is up for discussion here. Nor does it mean that
other Windows applications, or how you happen to work under Windows are up for
discussion.

If you want to discuss Windows, we have another list called Techno-Chat, and we
tried to establish a dedicated Windows-Access group for just that purpose but
it didn't take off. It's still there actually but nobody is interested in using
it it seems.

Anyway, if you want to discuss Windows, please consider joining our other list;
<http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/techno-chat/options/> where you may
do so to your heart's content. :)

This group is for Mac OSX and iOS exclusively. Also, another point. If you feel
that another member is discussing something off topic, please raise it as an
enquiry with us. That way we can also avoid misunderstandings.

Thank you for your cooperation and I'm glad we can now put this one to bed
without anybody being hurt. :) Nobody was deliberately in the wrong here; it
was just a loophole in list policy which one user apparently spotted before we
did. :)

Lynne
