Hello all.
Has anyone here experienced a serious flaw in the iPhone 4 and/or
possibly iOS 5? The scenario here is that out of the blue the iPhone 4
displays, "sim card not installed". iTunes even displays this by the
way. You can try a restore, but it doesn't fix the problem. Even a new
sim will not work. The flaw could be to do with the metal contacts of
the sim or the sim tray. But at the same time it could be a serious
issue with iOS 5. In any case, this seems to only affect a small number
of 4 and even 4s. This flaw is apparently known to the internet. Please
do a Google for proof. But hey, if your iPhone 4 or 4s is working great,
stay right where you are. But if not, please let your network provider
along with Apple know and perhaps demand either a replacement 4 or 4s or
even downgrade.
This would be a very interesting and perhaps contraversial discussion I
realize. But I am just interested in how many of you have experienced
this or similar flaws. Thanks!
