Hello Michael, I have growl 1.2.2 installed and my application table lists growl, get iplayer automator, 1 password, and quickeys. Applications have to be launched to connect to growl so you generally have to launch the application once for growl to know about it. Try the growl version detector tool which you can download free from the growl web site. This scans your installed applications and lists those which contain growl support and indicates which level of growl they work with. My current version of Skype is somewhat outdated. I will upgrade it and check which level of growl it needs. All the best....
