Ar so it's normal then. Sorry for my ignorance, I've only had my iPhone
literally three days. So mistakenly thought it was a bug.

It's not a bug. It's a feature. and has been around since it first launched
when ever that was. I personally like it as I don't have to hear vo while I'm
trying to speak.

Hello all.
Please can you try and duplicate the following.
1. Download and install the free Audioboo app on your iPhone.
2. Launch it and double tap record.
3. Double tap start recording.
4. From this point on everything including VoiceOver comes out the earpiece. If
you however restart the iPhone sounds return to the speaker.
I am not having this problem on my iPod Touch, but I am on my iPhone 4. This is
pretty disturbing, as I thought I completely lost speech! So I put it to my
ear, and there was VoiceOver as well as other sounds!
If you can duplicate the above, this would be greatly appreciated. I have for
now deleted the app.
Thank you very much.
