Hello Niamh Wh Which devices are you referring too? yes, in the case of iOS and yes in the case of the Mac; but the answers are different.
We play DAISY content on the Mac very often; but we are having a little trouble with the iOS software "CaisyWorm" The 2 ways of playing this content on the Mac are with the free player Olearia from <http://code.google.com/p/olearia/> or the commercial / shareware player "ReadHear" from <http://www.gh-accessibility.com>. Both have their advantages and don't ever believe that free software is always inferior. Olearia isn't our personal favourite but there is no doubt that it will do a very very good job at playing AISY content. For iOS5 I believe that DaishyWorm is available in the App store, although somebody else might know better on that one. It comes from I think, the University of Western Australia and it seems good; although we have had problems getting it to work properly. I gather what you have to do is associate zip files in iTunes as transferrable content although that might have changed in newer versions so I won't say any more about that. Anyway; good luck and do let the list know how you get on. Lynne On 8 Nov 2011, at 22:29, Niamh wrote: Is there anyway of accessing daisy books on apple devices?
