Hello list,
I'm not sure how to google this question so I'm going to start with you
good folks and see if anyone has a suggestion. I have a sony dock and have had
problems connecting my iPhone 3GS and now can't connect my 4S because it is in
a Otter Box case. Is there such a thing as a cable that connects to the apple
connector on the dock and then to the phone? I'd be perfectly happy to set the
phone near the dock rather then in the somewhat fragile holder. Also I can't
be bothered to take the phone out of the Otter box case.
So does such a cable exist? Any one have a suggestion as the name it
is called so I can find it?
tips appreciated.
Oh! one other comment, my 3GS has a crack in the case near the connector. I'm
pretty sure this happened in the dock despite my efforts to be careful. I
think the cable connector would be a better option for me. Also, I don't want
to just use the aux input as that won't give me the ability to charge the phone
while connected.
thanks for your ideas.
eric Caron
