Hello All,

Thought I'd post these findings for any other folks who might be working with 
limited bandwidth. The difference in download size is significant and the 
reasons are well-explained on the web if you're interested in such things.

The download size was 790 MB when I updated my iPhone 4 from IOS 5 to IOS 5.01 
using the old method of connecting it to my Mac, checking for available updates 
in iTunes, and allowing iTunes to download and update the phone. 

The download size was only 39 MB when I used the new OTA method to update my 
iPad from IOS 5 to IOS 5.01.

Very nice indeed!
