Hi Catherine, Chris, and Others,

iA Writer exists as an iOS word processing app for the iPad, and is also
available for the Mac, but there is no iOS version of this app for the iPhone.
That explains why Chris couldn't find it. There are just some apps that are
available for the iPad that don't have iPhone versions, like the original
release of Pages. And of course, there are also apps for the iPhone that won't
run on the iPad.

HTH (with a PostScript for Catherine below my signature). Cheers,

Esther

P.S. I don't use very many abbreviations in my posts, but the few that I'm
likely to use are "HTH" for "Hope this helps", "YMMV" for "Your mileage may
vary" -- meaning that you may have a different experience or reach a different
conclusion/end up with a different opinion than mine under similar
circumstances, and "AFAIK" for "As far as I know". The most puzzling acronym
I've encountered, at least on first viewing, is "a11y" for "accessibility",
although it's very commonly used in tweets. The general principle is that you
write the first and last letter of a word, and then give the number of letters
that you're leaving out in between.
