HI

That's such a shame. The Bluetooth adaptor is optional for this docking
station, and costs 80 quid, so I may reconsider buying one, as it sort of
defeats the purpose, e.g. not being able to use the iphone for doing other
things whilst the music is playing.

Ah well.

Oh, another thing just popped into my head though, lol. Can you use a
computer to stream music over to the docking station? If so, this may be a
way around the above issue.

Thanks again.

Terry

HI mate, yes thats exactly what happens because effectively the Bluetooth
device is being used as the soundcard for the phone.

Hi Terry

Thanks for that.

Another question. When the music is playing through the docking station,
and you are using other apps on the iphone, does voce over come through the
speakers on the docking station.

Thanks.

Hi Terry.
When you pair the Bluetooth dongle of the dock to the phone it will
recognise it as being a soundcard.
So once its paired and active your good to go, and no, certainly my
experience of doing this tells me that the sound wont also come out of the
IPhone.

Hi all

I've just bought a docking station, which comes with an optional Bluetooth
adaptor to enable you to play music from your iphone over Bluetooth.

My question is, what do you have to do with the iphone, (apart from turning
Bluetooth on) to make it send the music over to the docking station. Also,
will the music also be played through the speaker of the iphone at the same
time? I do hope not.

Thanks as always for any help.

Terry
