A few days ago a lister posted a question about converting PDF to Text. i am now back on my mac so am now a able to post the email service I have used to successfully do this. To have PDF files converted to text files free of charge, send an email to [email protected]. It is most convenient to put this address into your address book so that it is readily available in mail. On the subject line, specify the format you want your file in. So in this case simply type Text. Attach your PDF document by simply copying and pasting from Finder into your Mail message. Send your mail and your converted file will be emailed to you pretty quickly ..
