Hello list,

I noticed that a app called Remote Dictate is free today. I tried it
out and it works ok for the price. Once you download the app you need to go to
mobile mouse.com and download and install a program. Everything was easy to do
and worked fine with Voice over on the mac and on the iPhone. there are also
windows versions of the program for a pC.
Once you open the app you are able to use dictation just like in siri only the
results also go to the computer. i tried it in mail and it worked pretty well.
I suspect this only works for a 4S. It seemed to work well as long as I did
not use any formatting commands. That is with Siri I can say things. like "new
line" or "new paragraph" This works well on the phone but on my computer as
soon as I use a formatting command the text from that point stops being
transferred to the computer. Still, it seems to get everything as long as I
avoid those commands.

I hope others might find this useful.
