Hello everybody Over the last few days we have been doing some re-evaluation of list policy. We have now come to the decision that there is no longer any requirement for us to use assistant list controllers to maintain the group. We would like to publicly express our thanks and gratitude to all of those who participated as an assistant list controller; [Anne Robertson, James Austin and Donal Fitzpatrick].
We have now updated the list policy document and removed the list controllers from the moderation group. As of now, the support address is exclusively the place where members should come if they have any list-related queries or issues. It's also worth noting that in recent times, members have been very well behaved in terms of adhering to list policy. And we'd like to thank you all for that diligence. There have been a couple of issues recently which list members have raised with us; and we would like to thank those concerned for their vigilance. Anyway, in summary; with immediate effect, the assistant list controllers are no longer functional as backup personnel. We have already done the courteous thing and informed those concerned privately of the change.
