Umm, well when we bough our last one it is a desktop.  Have to spend the money, 
might as well get something that should last a long time.  Our previous desktop 
is 9 years old and still running across the room from me, unfortunately it's a 
power pc so it will never evolve out of Tiger, but it's still working.  The 
i-phone can work when mobil, have cheap Windows laptop here too but rarely use 
it.
