Well, my suggestion is while she still can see start learning Vo or some
kind of screen reader as it sounds like it is going to happen ! I also
recommend learning Brail while she still has vision. I sure the monitor will
help the larger it is the larger you can go with the screen magnifier and
get more text on the computer. Now I don't know exactly what Mac has in a
magnifier but she might want to at least do a boot camp and run windows on
it so she can use tzoomtext . But I think just learning Vo is the way to go!
I would start teaching her now! JMT !

Subject: Thunderbolt monitor

G'day all,

I'm looking at purchasing a 27 inch Thunderbolt monitor which will be used
with a new MBP and would like to hear from those here who have had
experience using the unit. The primary reason for getting a large screen
monitor is that my sister is finding it harder to use her existing 20 inch
Samsung. At present she has to sit up pretty close in order to see what is
being displayed and I'm slightly concerned that as it has a glass face how
much reflection there will be and if this will detract from it's usability.

Thanks for any help with this matter.

Cheers.

AB
