What happens if you do it from the mail man page? of your list config thing. I'm not the admin so I dunno how things are set up but if you just vo to the email thing and type in your email then it unsub or edit options and then enter in your password you were given at the time of subscribing then hit yes I really want to unsub and hit the unsub button then confirm by replying to the email with the long confirmation string you should be good to go.
