In vo utility, go to verbosity and tab once. Then right arrow to the text tab
and press the space bar to select it.

Tab 3 times to the pop up labelled, while typing speak. Press the space bar
and arrow to words, then press the space bar again to select it.

Now, when you type, you will not hear each key echoed, but will hear each word
you have typed when you press the space bar after typing the word.

Is there any way to change the keyboard echo to Word instead of each letter
typed? I looked around in VO utility and the only thing I could find was a
check box to turn key echo completely and I don't want to do that.

Am I missing something or does this feature not exist? This character key echo
is really slowing me down.
