Hi Maria,
    Applevis now has Mac applications reviewed as well, so you might want to 
check around their site.  They just added that recently.

     As for the Bluetooth keyboard, yes, it's probably best to turn off BT on 
the opposite device.  I do this as well.

    Lastly, you can set up Gmail in the Apple Mail program.  By default, it 
will set up an imap account, and it should be pretty straight forward to 
accomplish.
