I'm not seeing any error messages in that log file. Either ftpd
didn't report any, or the log didn't display them when you searched
for them.
According to the log you showed, all that happened was a connection
(several times) nothing occurred after connect, not an attempted
upload, or even any downloads, or errors reading the file folders.
Sorry it's such a pain, but it does get this way sometimes. :)
