I think this may vary depending on what the link is or goes to. I ran into this similar situation this morning. I originally started up Safari and went into the search box from the tool bar to look something up in Google. As I arrowed down the list of probable items to link to, I opened up the context menu and had trouble finding the item to open in a new tab. I also did not see anything for downloading; that would make sense here as the Google hits aren't usually downloadable items. Later on, I did find something I wanted to download and when opening that same context menu, I was offered additional choices including "Save linked file to Downloads" and "Saved linked file as..." I am still learning my way around Safari and the mac so I'm still "bouncing off the walls" just yet.
Hope tHope these observations are of some help. On 2/2/12, Sarah Alawami <[email protected]> wrote: > Strange.
