Hi David and all, There are also third-party utilities designed to do this sort of thing, such as SayIt, which is available in the Mac App Store. I've used this to convert large texts before, without any of these strange issues. I'm not sure why they should be happening, but wanted to share my two cents. Yours, Zack.
