Hi Dane, I recently posted a podcast that covered this and the other aspects of the Reminders. app. Below is my post and the link to the podcast. The short answer is listen to the reminder you have created. It is listed twice. one of them will say unchecked double tap to check it and it is marked as complete. this causes other actions as well but that is in the podcast.
