Thanks,
Steph

Subject: JBL "Onbeat Air" speaker system
Hi!
Hope the moderators of the list don't mind me sending email on
this product, after all its a device that can be used with IOS
devices and so on <smile>.
Just ordered one of these speaker systems, expecting it Monday so
I should be able to give you all a good "wrap" of the speaker
system then.
This JBL offering is "Airplay" compatible thus you can stream
music or video from your Mac, Computer or IOS device to the
system, also contains an aux-in jack and a USB port for those
people who don't have "Airplay" devices.
Has an iPhone/iPod/iPad compatible dock so you can connect the
device directly if you so desire.
You're looking at around $200.00 in the U.A. for one of these
systems and that to me is a bargain.
There is a JBL system above the "Onbeat Air" called the "Onbeat
Stream", its a little more powerful and will also allow bluetooth
streaming, had I known of the existence of this model then I
probably would have bought it, ah well at, at least I can keep
saving and its like the old story with the Altec Lansing
Expressionist Plus and Expressionist Ultra speakers which worked
themselves out in the end <smile>.
I've never owned nor heard - consciously at any rate - a JBL
speaker system before, I'm told I "Don't know what I'm missing"?
We'll see come Monday.
