Hello Tracy, Lynne, and Others,

Well, this seems to be very bad timing, but it appears that "Talking to Siri"
is, indeed, currently not available in the UK iBooks Store. In fact, it's a
very good thing that Mike Busboom bought his copy from the German iBooks Store
last month, because it's no longer available there, either.

In the US iBooks Store, checking the title brings up a completely new version
of the book with publication date of March 26, 2012, and a price of $11.99
instead of $4.99. Apparently, Pearson (an educational publisher) acquired the
book rights and published a printed version in the US with a March 16, 2012
release date. Pearson now owns the ebooks rights to this book, and came out
with their own version of their printed work (with the same content as before).
So once Pearson released an eBook version, it replaced the authors' original
eBook version, and became subject to international distribution rights
negotiations.

Here's the current version US iBooks Store link for "Talking to Siri: Learning
the Language of Apple's Intelligent Assistant" by Steve Sande and Erica Sadun:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/book/talking-to-siri-learning-language/id510942082?mt=11
It does not currently work for the UK or Germany -- and probably other
countries. I did check that this book is available through Kobo Books:
bit.ly/H1DFGQ
(I've had to shorten the link.) At present, the Kobo Books price for this book
is $8.69. You'd have to either read this in the Kobo Books app on your iOS
device, or download the ePub version from your Kobo Books account on their web
site, and then read that version in Adobe Digital Editions Preview 1.8 on your
Mac desktop, however. Kobo Books is available internationally, and the app is
usable on iOS devices with VoiceOver, although you'll prefer the iBooks reading
experience.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther
