Hi Sarah and All,

What's most interesting about that article is that you should be able to unlock
from AT&T and use the same iPhone when traveling abroad, by buying a local
micro-sim card. Despite the title of the article "AT&T's iPhones: Free at
last", you're not really going to be able to switch to a local carrier like
Sprint or Verizon, who use CDMA phones. However, you could unlock and travel
in Europe, Canada, South America, and most of the world, have access to your 3G
location services and buy micro-sim cards for short-term local phone coverage
services without paying huge amounts of money in international roaming charges.

Cheers,

Esther
