Yep, Vijournal would be absolutely perfect for this however bare in mind that 
the IOS version of Vijournal - when I last checked the app - wasn't accessible 
which is a huge shame for me, I tried contacting the developers about this but 
got no reply to my requests.

Anyway back to the Mac Vijournal app, this is completely accessible and has 
some extra nicities that a standard diary doesn't offer.

For example you can add audio clips to every daily event if you like and this 
could be very handy for Gordon, he may like to make a recording for example of 
how he feels each day or what he thinks he's achieved.  You can also add video 
clips.

I keep a daily diary here of events, not only notes on what I've been doing but 
also a summary of news headlines for that day, may be interesting for future 
generations to look back on and read or even for my own personal interest as 
I'm a news junky <smile>.
