I have found a work around that works well. Instead of a cut and paste there is a move to key stroke. Press command, option and V. This will move the file to where you want to put it, you have to copy the file with the copy key stroke firrst then perform the command, option and V, key command. hth Ed <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net --->
